the thing that i like the most about the 06 lights is that they are not dark and dull looking like the older ones...

No I do, but they are retro e46's and not as sharp as a TSX. I'm thinking a simple lense change on a '06 would give me the best of both worlds.

I'm thinking of having my own lenses made.

You need some clear ece spec lenses that Valeo uses with the dot shield.

Has anyone put yellow H1 bulbs in for fog lights? I'm just wondering what it looks like.

OK, I've been reading and now I'm sold. Putting the order for them tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's input and advice.

Also, how difficult is the removal of the front bumper? And do I need any specific tools are anything like that? Any other advice on the install too? Thanks.

Front bumper is simple to remove. There is a step by step sticky in here somewhere for its removal. You will need a 10mm socket wrench a flat blade screw driver and a philips screw driver (long one).

just like Blue mentioned, you'll need the Sticky that shows you directions on how to remove the bumper & headlights. that helped out alot!!

and you're going to love them might I suggest the Philips Ultinons!

by the way Zoomers i noticed you live in L.A. and i do too. i am more than happy to give a helping hand if needed. feel free to ask.

phxblue and i installed my housings / Phillips Ultinon 6000k bulbs last night! WOW! Driving around town last night made me realize how crappy the original reflector housings were. It's a night and day difference. The projectors emit a cool bluish/white color now. I'm very very pleased. I'll post pics once it gets dark.
