AS much as i want to use a 6 inch ccfl i don't think it will work.. i think it's too big and the 4 inch is the only and best way to do it.. Because the amount of space gets smaller towards the end of the clear corner, i opened up my old orange one and measured it and think that a 6 inch won't fit. any one else agree?

i might end up using the 4 inch.

I have a DP sedan, and dont mind the amber corners.

If I were to put a "white" tube behind the orange lens, would I jsut get a brighter and more-evenly light corner? or would there be some color issues?

more evenly...yes. same color...i have no idea...never tried it. I would assume it would be a shade of amber, but since the ccfl is so bright, it might be a lighter shade of amber. not too sure to be honest with you. good question though. maybe someone who has tried that can chime in and answer that.

How do you know which wire is (+) and which wire is (-) for the license plate bulbs? And the CCFL light has two white wires, which aren't marked (+) or (-).

you can't connect the ccfl light directly into the car's wiring. you have to plug those wires into an inverter. the inverter has the black and white wires.

gotcha...the license plate wiring has green & black wires. I'm assuming the green is positive & black is negative?

can you replace stock bulbs for your corners, and replace them with led's instead? ccfl's looks like too much work! =)

^ you can use leds if you want. You'll have to ask other people though. i don't have much experience with leds.

yo Yume, i desided to do the licence plate cathode, and for the life of me, can't take out the frame! spent a least 20 minutes, gave up, tried to take off the bumper, but that was too hard also, there these flat "nut" things on the sides holding it down. any tricks? oh, and once you got the flame out, how do you get it back in with out cracking the cathode?
