I would start with the door switch and verify it is working. Turn the interior lights switch to automatic and when you open the door it should turn the dome light on, close the door and it should turn off. If the light doesn't turn on you probably have a bad door switch.

I know this is quite backwards to everyone else, but I love the older gauge cluster. I was hoping for some help and guidance to swapping in reverse. Please let me know.
