Got Rims Earlier Than I Expected (NO 56k)

Originally I was going to wait on buying some rims, but I got a good deal on these primarily because I mainly traded car audio stuff I don't even use anymore. They aren't my first rim choice, but I do like them. Originally I intended to go 19's or 20's (leaning toward 19's since I'm going to lower the car in the future).

These are 20" MOZ Tower 5 black rims with a chrome dish and lip. Lighting wasn't the greatest so I'll take more pics with better lighting later and even get some rolling shots. Enough talk, time for the show. I really like how easy these things are to clean

What size tires are you running? What are your plans for a drop, will make a big difference.

Tire size is 225/30ZR/20

I would have wanted them to be bigger and wider, but there is still PLENTY of tread remaining. Down the line I'll go ahead and get wider and larger profile tirse.

Plans for dropping are undecided now, not sure exactly how many inches. It won't be for a while though. I may go with Megan Racing Coilovers or Tein Basics and when I do, I may downgrade to 19's and get something with a 3 or 4" lip.

if you stick with these, I would definitely suggest you lower it... also, don't expect those tires to last long...

I don't, they are very thin for my taste, they look nice, but I like a bit more protection for my wheels. I will most definitely lower it regardless of staying with these or going with others. I just don't know which coil over kit to go with. I think the stock suspension is pretty good and I don't want to lose the quality, if it stays the same, thats fine, but as long as it doesnt get any worse.

Don't like them. Upsized aftermarket wheels with no drop warrants an immediate fail.

be very careful with manholes in a city near you.
definitely give your ride a drop and switch up the tire profile.

I'm seeking to get it dropped shortly, might even do it within a couple weeks. I might try to sell the rims locally and get some 19's with bigger tires. That is originally what I wanted to do, but I couldn't pass up on the deal.

A good deal doesent mean you should go for it
Like everyone said, those tires are wayyy too small, almost dangerously small. The wheels actually make your car look cheap. Kudos to what everyone said about a drop. For what you paid for those wheels + tires, you probably could've got a set of Tein Basics. That + stock wheels would look better than those dubs you have now.
