Finally got my G!

http://i536.photobucket.com/albums/f...y/HPIM0034.jpg

Just got my G it's a 05 auto, I thought it would be a little faster than it is. I 'm comming from a modded 5.0 mustang to this so I guess I'm just spoiled.
I'm wanting a good full exhaust system and was going between the HKS and the Borla they both seem like quality exhaust systems, just wanting some input from the pros on the board.

I'm on G35driver so much that my wife thinks I'm obsessed or something . But it seems like everytime I read that someone has a issue with the car I immediatly see what they are talking about, but before I read the problem never noticed.

For instance the road noise from the tires dammit I hate that!
Love the car though and the Wife loves the car so if she's happy we're all happy.

HKS is the best sounding exhaust out IMO. Can't go wrong with it.

Well I think I'm gonna sell my bike and get some play change. I'm gonna go with the HKS and some test pipes, and I'm in love with the 19 inch Volk GTS rims in black chrome.

After I buy those two items I'll have spent about half what I have. From what I've gatherd from this board is that the only way to get decent power from our cars is to go FI and I won't have the money and I would hate to lose my warranty.
I would have about four grand left so I was thinking some brakes would be in order, maybe find some used brembos would be nice. Or maybe invest in some headers, I wonder how it would change the exhaust tone? Anyways just throwin some stuff out there what do you guys think?

I love my HKS. Def. changed the way my car drives. From what I've heard, test pipes are raspy, and headers require an engineering degree to install.

The G is a lot differen't from bigger domestic motors. I have gutted cats and headers, with a set of flowmasters on my 97 F150, and it helps a lot.

With the G, bolt on mods don't add up and do what they do to older domestic vehicles, so definately don't expect the same results. If you want a good sound out of your car. Start with the HKS, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Test pipes won't add to your G, what catless systems do to a Ford V8. The most I've heard of them, they're raspy, and smell gas-sour. As far as headers go, can't tell you what they'd sound like, but gl if you choose to install them.
