New G35

Hello everybody, I just picked up a G35 coupe two days ago and thought I'd share with everyone some pics and hopefully you can help me out with some stuff I've been wondering about.
First off I am going from a lifted Jeep Wrangler to this G35 so its quite a jump for me in several different ways.

I think the color is called athens blue. Is that right?

Open the hood and in the passenger side strut tower you'll find a metal plate that says COLOR CODE ( or something like that, I can see the plate in the picture you posted ). It's three characters long ( For example, Desert Platinum is KX6 ).

Here are the codes:

AX6: Laser Red
AY2: Garnet Fire
B16: Medium Blue
B21: Athens Blue
B30: Lakeshore Slate
BW5: Dark Blue Pearl / Twilight Blue Pearl
D10: Green
K23: Liquid Platinum
K32: Serengeti Sand
KH3: Black Obsidian
KX6: Desert Platinum
KY0: Brilliant Silver
QX1: Ivory Pearl
WV2: Diamond Graphite

Although I think some of these might not be correct but close enough.

Good looking car btw.

I went from a lifted Jeep as well! been about 2 months now and im loving it. I like yours a lot!!

My jeep had a 4 inch short arm with 33's. Front/rear bumpers and rockers. One tip i would give you is be careful the first few days. I was so used to just running over any curbs or obstacles in my way i had to make sure i didn't smash the G into things....

Those look like MT wheels! i had the classic locks thanks to the previous owner. I was just about to get a jks BL and go 35's on some steelies when i graduated from school and needed better mileage.

I was happy with my Toys By Troy front bumper, very unique. Dealer i sold it to is a guy i used to work for, he told me hes had like 5 or 6 people come in and ask to just buy the bumper. haha

Here's a pic of mine, but i had the at's on trying to save mileage. Gave up and bought a G

Haha I think the wheels were eagle alloys. Ya i had just swapped in a Dana 44 rear and was getting ready to order my 35s when my jeep got totaled. Thats a nice jeep you had. Im digging the front bumper.

Man this is making me start to miss my jeep. Definitely a whole different driving experience.
Also a short arm 4" lift, 1" spacers,1" BL and 35's. had a winch and rear bumper(not in pics). Was about to re- gear but sold it.
