I would rather have something that looks like a real custom job than something like looks it was just glued on (aftermarket diffusers). Even the best ones have fitment issues and have some gaps. Mine looks like factory.
Well done PlastiDip looks just like paint. The last few years saw a huge rise in vinyl wrap which is far more expensive to install and very costly to repair.

If you Plastidip an entire car, it looks nothing like paint. Not from closer than 20 ft. anyways. No matter how well done it is, it doesn't look like paint. No matter how well sprayed, there is some uneven parts and the texture is weird. It's one of those things where in pics it looks cool, but in real life not so much. Small parts, it can work. Vinyl wrap is more expensive, but it also looks better when doing an entire car.

Then you haven't seen it done from somebody that knows what they are doing. I have seen a few that were as flawless as any wrap or paint. You have to use good equipment and have experience painting a car to get a full car to look good.
