Yea, figure out your fitment and EVERYTHING else before you paint. Otherwise if you decide to go more aggressive and you F it up to bad.

Okay guys on the. Fender flares, should I get carbon fiber flares, or fiberglass and paint them the color to the car. Keep in mind I dip my ride, and have a ton of carbon fiber on there now.

I say carbon fiber. But, I want my flares to look like flares. I'm not trying to create a widebody look that is seemless. Ideally, I would love to do something like RocketBunny, but since that doesn't exist and I can't, in the foreseeable future, see myself building a custom kit such as that for my car, flares it is. To that note, where are you getting your flares from? I'm looking for some as well. I've seen a gabillion online but I'm not sure if we just grab generic or what. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I pm'd ya. I just fear a lot of people will jump to flares as these cars are becoming like civics. So I want it to be kinda original. I mean no one is doing the same build I am. I get that, but I think you can understand where I'm coming from.

I say fiberglass and paint the flares to match...I didn't research for pictures of carbon fiber flares but my gut instinct told me to say no lol. Keep up the good work!

I think I'm doing the fiberglass ones and then painting. Carbon fiber ones are a hundred more a set.

But I'm also getting the apr spoiler to give it that look. So I think when all of that is done it will look better. We will see. If I hate it I will mold them in.

Mmmmmmmmmk. You know I love your ride. I know you have a metal widebody that's sick. I don't know many people who even go that route to do that on their car. But I'm just I'm the middle of how I want to pull off the widebody.

Apr ---- front is to plain rear is to plain for my liking.
Veilside. ----- front fender are money, rears I don't like and front is to much rear not enough
Top secret --- just hate haha

If I were to do any I would have to track down veilside front fenders, apr rear fenders leave my chargespeed rear and mold in my chargespeed front. Well honestly I like the strafe front but I don't want to loose my money. So I'm stuck being different. Fender flares I like I'm talking to the wonder seeing if he can make me a slightly larger set so it looks more in place. We will see if he can. I called around here to see cost of metal widebodys and they were quoting me 10-15k which for metal work is insane. So I'm left with my list of body decisions. I just don't know what to do.

HAHAHAHA. Yea but I don't know if I feel like dropping the 10-15k for just the metal widebody. I was expecting 2-6k both not 10-15k for just the metal work. That's why I'm looking for slightly cheaper options.

Okay guys I almost am set on my exterior build. Now its getting the parts. My question is what color should I do my calipers. I have a lot of gold accents, was thinking of going gold. I'm probably going to paint them myself until I have someone polish them then do like an electric green or something like that. But thinking of doing like a Brembo gold color. Or possibly a white with gold flakes in it. Also what about quick release bumpers good idea or bad?
