damn the g35 auto shifter looks retarded as hell. maybe do something about that if u can
I'm sure your car is perfect.
I think it looks a lot better than the older models. They didn't even have the leather boot. And I like the location. I rest my hand on it all the time
There is a DIY for disabling the sensor, but I didnt follow it. I just knew that cutting the orange wire will disable it. So I cut the orange wire and just installed the switch in-line. When u turn it off, the VDC and SLIP lights will come on. U can turn the switch back on but the system wont reset until u turn the ignition off and on again. Also, dont use the same location I chose as my switch. It gets in the way of the clip underneath....but I didnt find out until after drilling a hole, so I did some hacking underneath to make it work lol.
And yeah...same Scorpi0 from ZX6R. Who are u on there?
Appreciate the tips.
I never signed up on ZX6R but that site was loaded with info. Had a couple 636's so I was always taking advantage of that search bar lol. I remember seeing your name on a few threads giving great advice.
Getting the amps in. One for my subwoofer, the other for my midrange speakers. Midrange speakers going on the rear deck. They are 6.5" so I had to get an adapter to make it work. I installed them and cut out an opening, but they sit submerged, lower than my reardeck...looks ghetto! Fix plan is to get some spacers installed to lift up the grille so it sits above the reardeck. Will post some before and after pics when I'm done.
Serves as a good hand rest. I would imagine tiptronic mode wouldn't feel as nice with too short of one also
Amen! I got my hand resting on it all the time. And yes, its easier to shift in tiptronic with the added leverage. The shifter has a bit of resistance to it. It feels perfect.

Finished up the install a couple days ago. Bazooka sub fits right in there nicely. Heres the amps. Left amp is for my midrange speakers in the rear deck. Right amp is for the subwoofer. Its all hidden behind the sub.
Got my ricer headlights in. They make the car look a bit more modern....I like em! I passed on the OEM bulb and ballasts and went with my trusty DDM HID kit instead. Stock headlight system isnt strong enough to light both ballasts so I had to wire the low beams in through a relay.
