I already switched out the interior and door lights with LED bulbs just to give it a more modern look. I couldnt stand the stupid Card Holder on the driver side ceiling so I replaced it with a handle. I might be the only person who has ever done this mod lol.

I had already replaced the front door speakers about a month ago so I dont have any pics of that. Swapped the stock tweeters with some aftermarket ones. Replaced the door speakers with some Kickers. Also replaced the rears. Sounds way better than the stock speakers already!

Onto tackling the head unit!!

This car came with the non-bose stereo....**** looks old so its getting replaced with a Kenwood double din unit. While Im in there, Im also gonna be installing a back-up camera, ASWC to retain steering wheel button controls, garage door opener button, and a rocker switch to disable all traction. And finally a sub in the trunk.

Since I'm in here, I decided to swap the microswitches for the tiptronic shifter. I prefer pull to upshift and push to downshift. Wires were a bit short so I had to add some more to allow the switch to reach its position.

I initially bought a JVC head unit but later on decided I want something that can also pick up digital radio signals, so I went with the Kenwood DDX492.

Alright...finally finished up my head unit install. This was all supposed to go a lot faster but since my wife took a break from school and is back in town, I did everything little bit at a time whenever I was free. Head unit is nice...has all the usual stuff including HD radio tuner and a back up Camera. Also gives me the option to turn on the camera when I'm not in reverse...which I like.
I apparently bought the JDM DD trim which is for models with navigation. Since mine has no navigation, it left a 1/4" gap between the trim and the storage lid. So I got some spare aluminum trim and cut it and bent it so it fit well and looked nice. I was stuck fabricating this piece of shït for almost a week to get it perfect.
Heres a closer look at the trim. I had to seal the gap behind it with some electrical tape and glue. Im moving on for now but I'll come back to it at a later time and cover the gap with a nice fabric.
Inside the armrest I installed a little switch to disable the G-sensor whenever I wanna do stupid shît. I also installed an adapter which lets me plug my USB stick or Auxiliary cord in for the stereo. Makes it look original....I like!
Heres one shot showing it all.

Up next: Adding midrange speakers to the rear deck along with amplifiers and a sub in the trunk.

Did you use a DIY guide for the G-sensor switch? Recently bought a 5AT G35 and thinking about doing it to my car.

By the way, is this the same Scorpi0 from ZX6R?

There is a DIY for disabling the sensor, but I didnt follow it. I just knew that cutting the orange wire will disable it. So I cut the orange wire and just installed the switch in-line. When u turn it off, the VDC and SLIP lights will come on. U can turn the switch back on but the system wont reset until u turn the ignition off and on again. Also, dont use the same location I chose as my switch. It gets in the way of the clip underneath....but I didnt find out until after drilling a hole, so I did some hacking underneath to make it work lol.

And yeah...same Scorpi0 from ZX6R. Who are u on there?

Yeah thats original. I think the angle of the shot is making it look taller than how it really is.
