I dedicate my 1000th post to...
... the long and seemingly neverending road my G has gone through since the day I purchased her 2 years ago from a struggling family in Daytona Beach who needed some extra cash (win-win if you ask me)
Here's the car 2 years ago (Sept. 2006) when I bought it, plain vanilla stock. Fell in love with it though and I knew there are lots of mods to go with it as I explain later.

My very 1st mod - JDM clear corners (purchased Oct. 2006 from Infiniti of Scottsdale online). Unlike other replicas, this clear corner set is designed by Nissan (and has the Nissan name engraved as proof).

For all of the mod projects I've taken on, I do about 90% of the work myself. Although I'm not a mechanic by any stretch of mind, I strongly feel that I can learn more about the workings of my car if I do it myself. Here's one of the mods I've done a while back and one I'm most proud of: DIY flat black grille

Fast forward to the present, and here is where she stands now (just washed, clayed, polished and waxed):

You may notice several chips on the black grille. I'll have to take it off and consider doing a fresh paint job on it (maybe gloss black this time?)

Just recently installed R1 Concepts E-Line cross drilled and slotted rotors on the front. The old stock ones were 2 mm below the minimum spec and squeaked bad at every stop. Fresh new rotors on, and now no more squeaking (plus the brakes grab harder than before)

I also installed new 05-06 reverse lights with super white reverse bulbs (got tired of having the stock 03-04 ones, plus they don't flow well with the 05-06 outer lights)

Check out the gleaming shine on the hood. Clayed all the bug crap and sediment off and now it's like a mirror shine finish

A few upgrades under the hood:
JDM RH battery cover
Z-tube
Amsoil nano air filter
Stillen grounding wires
Motordyne 5/16" iso-thermal plenum spacer
Optima Red Top battery
NRG polished hood shocks

Only thing I upgraded in the interior is the MOMO auto shifter and a baby seat (just the seat base in this pic)

The rest of my mods list:
DEI remote start
Hawk HPS brake pads
Ebay M3 replica lip spoiler (may take it off for an Unlimited Tuning spoiler later on)
Eibach Pro-Kit springs
19x8.5 HP Evo's Racing wheels (on hyperblack finish). A real PITA to keep clean but looks good for now with the lip size.
JDM Luminics yellow fogs
05-06 sedan midpipe
LEDs in clearance, trunk, license plate and step bulbs
Overall, I'm proud of where my car is at and where it's going. Not too concerned about the gas mileage since the extra power and performance compensates for that loss
Also I'm glad to have my wife and 1-year old son beside me and support me with my car craze. It's all about doing these mod/upgrade projects the right way and in a cost-efficient manner. I view modding as not a "disease" but a way of life, and in some ways it's a telling sign of your personality. OK I'm getting a little off tangent here so I'll stop now...
Happy modding folks!

Maybe sometime in the future when I have enough leftover cash but in the meantime, I'm strongly considering having the black bottoms color matched with the rest of the car.Sorry I'm gonna stick with the clean look of my trunk lid, thanks for the offer though
