Those pictures came out sick. It looked like you had a lot of fun. The bumper looks great, I got the same one. I can't wait to put it on.

thanks for the comments guys...

The hood thing I heard at least 5 times "hood's open"... I even got flagged in off the track because they thought it wasn’t latched down.

I put spacers at the hinges because my headers make crazy heat... stupid me though, wasn’t really needed for an event like this They are needed for drag racing though - but even then the intake temps are waaayyy hot! I data logged temps this past weekend and intake temp ranged from 115-160 depending on how long I idled.

Anyway - road courses are so much fun! I've actually been contemplating an S2K my car isn’t set up for road course and even if it was the sedan just isn’t a road course car... but its still way fun!

A funny story - I was talking with my instructor (John) about running air ducts to the front brakes from each of the bumper side openings - and a different instructor came over and asked John if he was driving the sedan last group - I said "no it was me, what did I do wrong" (expecting to hear that I f-ed up and hopefully learn something) - he said "you were doing really well" - I was kinda shocked... he was an instructor for a guy in an M3 (behind me)... I guess sedans can represent (but an S2K would be more fun)

That is great inspiration for me! I will be running my sedan next year in a charity event that I went to this year at Road America. I am hooked on taking corners now. My mod list changed from go fast parts to stop fast parts and suspension first. Great pics thanks for sharing.

Crawford... and if it wasnt for doing cams I wouldnt have bothered... in fact, I woldnt suggest without cams.

I will say that the loss of low end from the cams that would have been excepted without the headers isnt there... so there is a trade off. The heatsoak is an issue I'm addressing.

I'm thinking of going to Willow Springs (Big Willow) in Feb... I dont know if Chris would want to drive down - but maybe we can make it a group event...

Info is on Speed Ventures website if anyone is interested... if there is interest let me know and I'll start a thread for it.
