dang mega pics warning...

yeah the huper Optik stuff is a little hard to work with. It takes a lot of patience to heat-shrink the stuff which is why a lot of places don't offer it.. It's like a turn around efficiecy thing. Esp when you have things like pinnacle and 3m that's easier to work with.

as the story goes, Huper optik if you heat it too quick will essentially ignite and catch on fire... plus it takes a good shop to apply it neatly enough to prevent a lot of ghosting.

ghosting is also the reason why going below 40 is probably not a good idea with huper optik.

but don't get me wrong, it's the best stuff out there. these pictures originally inspired me You just have to put in the time to get the right place to put it on for you. cause it'll seriously take 3hours+. I mean the guys I use over here turn around HP and 3M and pinnacle in like 2-3 hours. Huper optik they take about 4-5.

and yeah the girl helping w/ the heat shrink. Nice !

looks good but i thought tints are suppose to be installed on the inside? I just got 20% all around and it was doen on the inside window, not the outside. Both way is fine? I was told its safer to tint the inside.

You have to shrink the tint first. You shrink from the outside. Then apply on the inside.

I also got it because I planned on getting something like this and it doesn't work well with metallic tint. https://g35driver.com/forums/g-spot/...nk-mirror.html

I'll tint the new car also when I have another 5 hours to spare.

Don't have those in GA. And the tint wasn't too dark that the VIN couldn't be read.

Anyway. For the record I do not have that car anymore.

Looks nice.

I thought the tint on the windshield is supposed to go on the inside of the car, not the outside...

^^^ Geez, that's the 3rd time it's been brought up. It went on the inside. You set your pattern whichever side has more accessible surface (outside) and apply on the inside. It's been answered already at least once.

Anyway. For the record I do not have that car anymore.
What happened to it?
