Some of the pics are kinda random, but they're there. Shout out to Jason for getting me a CRAZY deal on these wheels; John for getting me another crazy deal on the blue Rays lug nuts; Chuck at Adrenaline Motorsports for taking his time on the fender roll and doing a great job; last but not least, Mike for his help with these pictures! ![thewave](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/th_wave.gif)

Specs on the wheels:
18x8.5 +30 with 255/35 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R rubber
18x9.5 +28 with 265/35 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R rubber
Dropped on unrevised 350z springs/shocks. Natural camber, nothing dialed in. Rear fenders rolled to about a 45* angle, no pull--just rolled. Tire just BARELY rubbed before the roll, and I would've been alright with only about a 15* roll, but I figured why do it twice if I decide to go wider!
Thanks for looking guys! Many thanks to everyone here on driver for answering all my questions, especially Grant and Chris!!![Biggthumpup](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/biggthumpup.gif)
PS--some of the pictures are overexposed---ON PURPOSE. They were taken like that to highlight the width of the wheel/tire package.
Thought I'd say something before the photography guys jumped my ***

Wow...Grant, you're good! I JUST sent you a PM with the thread link haha.
I agree, I think I need to go about 1/2" lower in the rear and about 1" lower up front. Along with some added camber out back (around .5* more) and throw about .75* up front. I also need to get my toe checked in. How much adjustment do we have for toe in the rear? Enough to get it back into spec?
Lastly, to finish off the wheel project I need to paint my hubs (black) so they stop rusting, and paint the brake calipers. Can't decide between black, silver, or bronze. Bronze would continue my theme.

I paid $1300 for wheels AND tires. Tires have around 60% tread left on them. I REALLY like them so far. Very sticky, very quiet, and super smooth to boot! I'm probably going to buy another set when these wear out.
I should have more pictures up tomorrow. I'm going to try to go to the park to take some. w00t for a new background!!

I actually mis-typed the title, they're 18's like the info in the first post says...I feel like an idiot. Gotta send a PM to TTrank to see if he can fix it lol.
HAH! My dad and I both WISH it was a GNX. 547 ever made, only in 1987. It's a standard '87 GN that runs roughly 9.30's through the 1/4 mile
you're the second person to spy it in the background of one of my pictures, good eye!

Yeah yeah. Everyone says Nismo. My wallet will bitch slap me if I buy anything else ATM. Centercaps are on the way as soon as I get the $$$.
I can't decide what I want to do to come down lower. I think coils are a waste of money, as you're really just paying a company to put your springs on the strut. I'll probably end up buying some 350z Bilstein shocks, and some 350z S-Techs. They're a 2.5" drop if I remember right, and I'm about 1.25" right now. I think the rear may be too low though that route.
First things first, I need camber kit/toe bolts both front & rear. After that I'll be doing sways and STB's, and I'll see how it handles afterwards. Only then will I start modifying my spring/shock choice.

Car is dropped ![Embarrassment](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
Only on Z suspension though. I posted above my thoughts on suspension, and I'm not sure what route I want to go with it. I've never been a fan of the super dumped look, as I feel you need a CRAZY agressive wheel to pull it off, along with some super negative camber, and my budget just doesn't allow for such a thing right now, and it's also my daily driver; my concern on that subject isn't bumps, but tire wear.
I was actually really surprised at how much they set off the car! I thought I got a pretty crazy deal on them myself ![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I can't believe I got my 2 favorite sedans in one thread. If there was a shrieking school girl smiley, I would be using it right now![Bowrofl](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/bowrofl.gif)
If I would've bought everything separately I would've gone with a 40 series tire. If you read above, you will see that I bought them used, and at a steal for that matter. So, next year when I buy new tires, I will probably, and most likely, go with a 40 series. For right now, I'll drive on the tires that cost me less than nothing.

Love the wheels, tire sizes are jacked though. Almost a 5% tire diameter difference front and 4% difference rear. That is why the drop doesn't look like it should. 255/40 and 265/40 would be as close to perfect as you are going to get and would get rid of more fender gap.
