Dude, why are you masking off your door handles and window trims? PAINT THEM !!!!

You didnt fill those moulding holes with bondo, did you?

4DGS - Yes, had to be a different guy

X-Vert- Yeah I plan on it, or vinyl I'm not sure so I just tapped them off for now.

naughty240- Recommend something better?

^Spot weld then grind/sand down the welds to blend with the doors. The shop/guy that did my trunk used this method and said bondo won't hold up. It will eventually give and crack.

I agree with X-vert....gotta do the trim too.

Filling holes with bondo is asking for trouble. It will sink around the hole and will crack at some point. To last it needs to be welded. Also if you leave those handles in, they will peal at some point also. All those doors should be taken apart with lower mouldings, handles and belt mouldings removed.

G35papa- oh yes! Of coarse I did... didn't think about what he was asking. I used little washers behind it too. Was a great idea and the welds seem very strong. I hate bondo and I would never trust it with such a mass of area. I spend another 3-4 hours with bondo today...

I did weld all the holes.

handles to what? You lost me.

yeah. Those door moldings tripled the down time to get this baby painted I have been going out those holes for forever.
