Me too, watching this build with interest.

Pulled the F-CON and still the same problem, opened the ECU and BCM, no burns... I've checked almost every wire in the engine bay and car as well as all the fuses and relays and nothings wrong. I couldn't trace those problems to anything starting with simplest first, windows not working...just left stumped. I hooked a scanner up to the car and it had no communication with the ECU.

As soon as thats sorted I will have #'s
Are you doing the install completely on your own?

I hate to sound like a dick or whatever you want to call it but from the questions you asked in some of your other threads, from the way you list the mods on your car in the garage link which is somewhat awkward, from some of the mods you have bought going into an FI build, and even from the way the t-bolt clamps are installed showing disregard for detailed work, to me at least, you really don't sound like an individual who has a complete understanding of what he is doing but I appreciate a good effort as long as the money that went into the build is not all wasted. If I can do better remains to be seen. I am simply saying that it's a bad idea to go forward without knowing what you're doing exactly.

I certainly hope that whoever built the motor knew what they were doing as far as tolerances go and proper torque specs. I hate to see motor capable of 600+ whp go to waste because of a spun bearing or something similar.

I am always happy to see another G sedan boosted so GL.

LOL, What are you talking about, my mods are listed awkward? You are sounding a bit awkward now, maybe you can clear this up? Sorry I didn't list my thermal capacitor, halogen fluid, and upgraded muffler bearings in my mod list

I would not say I am not competent for doing this type of work, I'd say I don't have experience in doing this type of work. I mean when was the last time I installed head gaskets on a motor, oh wait, I never have this was my first time So basically I gave it a shot...I have nothing to prove to anyone. I did this because I wanted to, I had saved enough money to do this and I figured worst comes to worst, the $10k I save in labor could be used to get the car running.

What do you mean its not a good idea to go forward at this point? Are you an authority on good ideas? I didn't know what I was doing the whole way along. You know I didn't even know how to wire a relay before I tackled this job. You'd be suprised what I can do now...CAI, no problem

Everything was basically done with plenty of detail (believe me, tons of detail needs to go into this, its not like doing a CAI or muffler where all your attention can get spent on two simple mods, a build like this is basically tons of mods being installed together) if you are talking about my photos, keep in mind some of those are incomplete build photos just showing how it will all work/fit...many many hours were spent clamping down all the t-bolt clamps so I don't get air leaks. If you notice (well you probably wouldn't) the BOV doesn't even have a vacuum line on it and there are no clamps on the other vacuum lines. Pictures posted are obviously not of a running G35... otherwise they'd be complete.

As far as the tolerance on the motor, I sure hope the guy that sold me the block on the corner of the street knew how to install the cam shafts and valves into my block, otherwise I might shoot a fuel injector through the crank shaft Dude, seriously are you questioning tolerances? I've seen how you solder... not to sound like a dick

I'm just saying the t-bolt clamps could of all been installed at matching angles so that it clears the bumper and they don't scrape on anything or hit anything.

In your mod list you list the fuel system twice. A CJ Motorsports Twin 255lph Fuel Pump is a Fuel Return System.

You also bought 2 exhaust system. An HKS dual muffler exhaust which is for an 07+ G sedan and is a single 60mm or 2.3" system that connects to the stock midpipe on 07+ sedans which is not going to work for for FI.

The HKS dual tip mufflers you bought for 03-04 sedans also have a 2.5" inlet and it's a lot of work and money that would be wasted making a dual 2.5" system when a 3" would cost about the same and be better suited for an FI build of 500+ whp.

Those 2 systems probably cost close to $1000 and it was wasted.

and there is really no wrong or right way to solder as long as current flows and I don't have a check engine light on from it.

But like I said if it was me and it was my hard earned money I wouldn't go forward without being absolutely certain of what I was doing. But that's just me.

If you could please just quit posting in my thread regarding my car I'd appreciate it. You are only causing clutter at this point that doesn't need to be here... here we go with completely useless responses:

CJ Motorsports twin fuel pump is a fuel pump, a return fuel system is the lines and fitings to return the fuel, the CJ pump does have an inlet for returning fuel, it is not the basis for the system. Therefore my car does have a return fuel system on it and a CJM Twin Fuel Pump.... was it that awkward?

As far as exhaust goes, I only wasted $140 total so far on a Megan y-pipe, BIG FUVKING DEAL. Oh wait I also paid $340 for a HKS muffler that was on my car for 4 years... so

If it were you Andrei.... well dude, it ain't gonna get any worse at this point, its not like the car will spontaneously combust or anything, so me continuning to diagnose the problem for a few more weeks before giving it to a pro... worst thing that will happen is I get it started, I will take that risk because the gain is greater

*edit* as far as the clamps go, hmm... how many times have you bolted up clamps for your turbo piping? If they are at mismatched angles its because I set them like that to prevent rubbing or allow for fitment. When I have time I will post pictures to show what GARBAGE THE GTM SYSTEM IS. Complete and utter ****. The pipes are not round and none of the piping actually fits the way it was designed to...well maybe if it was installed in a coupe, but I was guaranteed it would fit in my car...guess what it doesn't!
