thanks for all your help bro
What do i use as a primer base btw
No problem
I always use Duplicolor sandable primer in black. You can use any primer really but I've always liked the way Duplicolor paints lay down.

Yes. OEM lip would add a nice touch.

I was going to say yes, but then I noticed you'd already painted the Mt. Fuji, so now I'm not so sure. Yes, paint the grille black, but also paint the Mt. Fuji something lighter, like a gunmetal/anthracite/dark silver of some type to keep it consistent with the theme you've got going on and to give the grille a little contrast.

Yes. IMO blacked out fugi and crome grill looks kinda off to me. I would black out the whole thing, or do your grill and buy a new chrome fugi.

The roof is SEX BTW.
What color black is it. I want to do this in the near future Also how much did this run you if you dont mind asking.

I think your grill flat black will look good. Not so sure about the emblem. I think leaving it chrome as-is will contrast and look nicely.

I want to paint my headlights, but i drive my car so much i can't afford to be without headlights for long. Part of me wants to buy a set of headlights and then just sell mine after i've painted and installed the others.

I have done 20+ sets. Trust me, it is very simple. First time is nervous but you will be fine. Just take your time.

As I threatened to do a few posts back, I painted my grille this weekend. Thanks KevcoG35 and G35papa, you two inspired me to quit talking about it and just do it.

Kevco i think painting your grill flat or satin black and repainting the fuji emblem silver like the color of your car would be your best bet and tinting your sidemarkers, blacking out the chrome trim and a front lip wouldnt be a bad idea either
