Put some Skunk2 springs on today.

Found these new for $105 shipped from eBay and thought I'd give them a try. I measured from the top of the rim to arch of the wheel well. The front went from 5.625" to 4.25" total drop of 1.375". The rear went from 5.0625" to 4" total drop of 1.0625". This is about what I expected as this is what they advertise. I had never installed springs on a G35 before and do not own any pneumatic tools, the install took just under 2hrs (just about as easy as springs get IMHO).

I was expecting them to ride like **** and be stiff as a board, I was however very pleasantly surprised. The ride is just ever so slightly stiffer than stock but not neck jarring like I was kind of expecting. I figured for $105 if I didn't like the ride I could resell them without losing any cash, not to worry though these are keepers!

I got them from the seller below and offered $100, he accepted my offer and I got the $5 shipping insurance. Looks like his price went up a bit, the original buy it now was $129 when I got mine last week.

After driving around for two days now, I can say that I'm very happy with this purchase.

No, these are the sport 18s...

I'm trying to decide between a more aggressive 18" wheel or getting a new staggered 19" package from wheeldude.

Right now leaning more toward aggressive offset 18s becuase then I would still have enough cash left over for an HKS rear section and front lip. Otherwise if I get 19s who knows if I'll ever get the exhaust and lip.

I'm really digging the Rota Boost right now:

Did you install a camber kit or is it not needed with that drop?
