here is the rears cut and you can see the tire is so damn close to the fender but i clear PERFECT and then when the rim gets close to the fender i have the camber set to where it just barley clears the cut lip .. i did the compress test and everything and maxed the whole rear end down as low as i could make it and everything was so damn perfect

here is the stance before any compress out back but its a tad bit lower now after the coils settled in more

here is a picture to show you my tire to fender gap at a little compress i clear by about a credit card or 2

and then the rim tucks by a bit

because my rears were cut i took extra time to get everything " PERFECT " just so i wont hit the cut edge ... took almost 7 hours or playing with the height and camber to get it good without rubbing

Cutting may be ok as long as you plan to never do a pull. The small lip that is cut off is the pinch welds between the inner and outer fender. it might appear fine but once its cut welding and body work is needed for a pull.

^^ i think you can pull the rear when its cut ... it should really be better IMO since its flat cut and the roller can stay right on the edge of the cut for a nice even pull ..

speaking of pulling im doing it friday with a roller

i plan to do a pull on mine as well and they are cut. but snoop i think what he means is since its where the inner fender and quarter panel were attatched and now its cut. the 2 are going to seperate a little when we do a pull.

It's impossible to keep paint on the inner fender lip when doing a roll and will need to be painted. The exterior however can be kept untouched by knowledgeable hands. It's just not worth the risk for most places, so they cant always guarentee a nice nevertheless perfect job.

Cornell is right about cutting out the fender lips, you seperate the inner and outer. When you do so you open up a whole new world of hurt when you want to pull fenders, and you also make it much easier for condensation to form in places it was never intended. When you pull them be prepared to spend a hundred times longer making it look pretty, not mention the initial suspension setup snoop already went through.

im hoping some of you can give my some insight,

currently i have 20x8.5's all the way around lowered on Tein's (i bought the car like this)
the fronts dont really tuck but the rear tucks about half the tire (225/35/20).

fenders arent rolled, i am thinking about picking up a pair of the same wheels but in a 20x10 for the rear, im not big on the Hellaflush trend but i love the staggered look and would like to keep in "kindaflush" but i dont want alot of camber.

so my question is what offset would get me close and i do plan on rolling the fenders

thanks

i dont have a good pic showing fitment, in the rear, with the inner fender not rolled it just clears the tire but about 3/16" maybe even a bit less. and it looks like theres about 2.5*-3* of camber in the rear already,

ill take some more pics when i get it back from the dealer.

thanks for the help

I had a different experience. Initially my fenders were rolled very flat by a member here (ShanesG) and my paint didn't crack at all. When you get you fenders rolled there is always a chance that the paint may crack, but if you keep the fenders hot and go slow then its likely not to happen.

True enough. All of the cars I have personally done have needed the inner wells painted, and that's upwards of twenty cars. But I heavily favor a hammer. I havnt the patience nor did I have the time for due process with a fender roller. Granted I have tried the process to yield similar results to yours, the paint still cracked likely due to it's age (many of the cars were 15 or older).

Update: Finally put on the 03-04 skirts I got from Vivek about a year and a half ago, and added an Ionic OEM front lip. Both are unpainted, the flat black ties in with the wheels and grille nicely
