OEM are not purpleish, they are yellowish from white. 6k is White with a hint of blue, the lights you are referring too are 8k hids, and the purple you are referring to are 12k

So your saying the SLIM ballast fits into the housing...I haven't seen what the inner of our headlight housing look like but i find it a bit hard to believe. I've looked at most headlight housings and not many ballast can fit in there.... Hope someone has a picture or two to show me because then it would be easily worth 10$ more.

Yea lol they fit right in there. No problem. I was surprised. The Coupes Look smaller though. And I did not force anything in it all just slid right in.

For the left housing the ballast fits on the right side and then you can stuff the wires on the left side. And its the opposite for the right housing. I did email DDM about this they said it might get hot but it should not pose any problems, so I am going to keep running them like this.

I would take pics for you but I would need to take my fender lining off and that would take too long for me just to snap a quick pic.

Also a little review

A club member has some Philips 3k bulbs and he paid a good amount for them. I paid 45 bucks for the kit with the bulbs.

They look almost identical if not the same type of yellow. Many times on cheap 3k kits you will get crappy bulbs which have a green tint to them, not these they are pure golden yellow like I have posted a pic. As well as the glare they give out is almost nill. two people drove in front of me and I asked they said it was good no glare at all.

I was driving home from the drag strip and the highway had no lights at all, I switched off the 3ks for a sec to see how the visibility is with just the 6ks alone and I instantly switched the 3ks back on they do give more detail and give alot of additional lighting.

I am very satisfied with my purchase

Edit: Here is a pic I took quickly it does light up more but this is what the camera see's

LuXXXz The oem lights turn that color before they burn out. Just a heads up.

not they are not... HID on the fog is not legal. because your assembly were not designed for it. but really you shouldn't be hassled for it. It is illegal tho, the glare a HID kit causes in a housing not designed for it is the problem. Around my area people do it all the time, i did it with my old maxima. never got bothered.

but if your talking colors yes, the colors are legal.
