I just read up, and your right they are technically illegal but if they are not blinding oncoming traffic then you wont get stopped for it.

I have no glare at all. If there was any glare I would take them out in a heart beat.

Check the second to last picture in the OP you see any glare?

For these DDM Kits do you need to get the wiring harness as well to connect to the battery to draw more power or I can save the 15$?

to the OP,

Did you have the OEM HID before or did you convert from a halogen to HID?
Im planning on changing my whole stock HID kit because for some reason, my lights are super weak. I was told by someone in the forums that the stock ballast for the G35 is very weak, therefore it will not accommodate to aftermarkert HID bulbs. My 8000ks look like 10000ks. Does anyone else experience this on their G?

i'm not trying to agrue glare VS non-glare.

honestly if i spent the money, i will never claim to see glare myself... that will be me, and it has been. i run them on my non-HID cars. I jusifty it by lowering down the beam a little bit honestly i know there is glare...

you see that HINT of yellow in your 1st picture of the garage door. There are small hints of it... but nothing too crazy like ones i've seen around me.

saying you wont get pulled over is more based on your area and they type of guy you run into.

the kit looks good. I might consider picking one up myslef when my fogs or headlight bulbs go. nice to know it FITS in the headlight.

but if your talking colors yes, the colors are legal.
Are you sure? I believe colors are illegal as well? If you think of the glare the same as driving around with your high beams that's illegal too.

Thumbs up

^ yep... i am sure of this.

RED BLUE lights are ILLEGAL. because those are for police use only.

the yellow in his fogs are AUXulary lights... if lexus comes with yellow fogs OEM then its all good. look at IS300 and some GS300. white bulbs in yellow projectors making it YELLOW. ES300 have them infiniti SUV has it, the thing looks like a pathfinder...

Just purchased the 6k hid-bulb and the 3k hid kit with hi-lo.
I've read mixed reviews about ddm.
Does anybody know how long they warrenty there products?
There products are cheap compared to others and wonder how long there bulbs or ballaset would last.
Hope everything workS and last. Knock on wood....

Its right on there page. Lifetime on ballast and bulbs when you buy there kit and 1 year on the bulbs if you buy them alone.

Ddm does not have a bi-Xenon kit. If you bought the hi/low bulb I belive that won't work. Its just a normal h4 bulb for the fogs in our car. Of you want high beams you need a bi-Xenon kit.

I said it right in the last post. No idea if it will work, There are 3 connections and the kit only plugs into 2, I believe the 3rd one is power for the Hi's which a bi-xenon kit will take advantage of.

Sorry never saw your post ha, but You are right, some is a reflection off the garage door, but there is a tiny bit of light escaping.

From those things( look for the red arrow on top of the flog reflector), Very thin beam of light(as you see in the first pic) that is not bright, you could stare at it for as long as you wanted and not be annoyed and at 1 foot away from the wall its starts at 5 feet high as a very thin beam that's about a foot long and the farther you are the higher up it gets and the more it dissipates.

You also need to be at the exact angle move 1 mm to the right or the left and you cant see it.

That is the only light escaping the headlight from what I can see in a dark room.

So for this being the only Negative other then no highbeams I think ill live with it

I called ddm tuning about the fog light/high beam, if it would work if I get the h4 3k hid kit with hi/lo bulb(20$ more). He said it should work.
Whos right?
