The fitting that I stripped and Randy polished had a tiny leak. Cooler came with an extra fitting, but I didn't have time to get it polished (it was already at the end of the day), so we had to put it on the car and leave it blue for now. Will pickup an extra fitting from Earls and get it polished; it will replace the blue one that's on there now.

ever thought about hood latch mechanism painted black?... that and vertical bars black would make grille-on look like horizontal floating bars...

I understand the open hood look (with polished nifties)... but with hood down (parked or rolling) the hood latch might look better invisible like the tow hook (which looks much better since you painted in black)... And even with hood open, the detail in subliminally hiding non-exciting essentials (like a hood latch) is a nice/important touch (imo)

Just my .02 - YMMV

ETA: btw, stickers?

The car is setup to look its best at a show. Given that the hood will always be open at a show the chrome hood latch will be properly displayed. Nothing in my engine bay that can be polished or chrome is painted black so the hood latch is consistent with that theme. I actually like the look of the tiny bit of bling behind the grill, it serves as a preview of what to expect once you open the hood haha. But yes it would look better black with the hood down to maintain the clean lines of the grill, it would just bug the heck out of me since I consider it to be an engine bay piece.

Mike I have 12 stickers on the exterior of my car, 9 of which for are sponsors (the three that aren't are Canibeat which I am a photog there and huge supporter of the site, Hellaflush Approved which is a must lol, and R-Rydes we showed with them at HIN so that sticker was recently added for that show).

Several have asked for pics of how I installed my Rare JDM underpanel "above" my front bumper so that it sits up higher. Finally got a chance to take a photo yesterday when working on the car.

No I've never had the ARC underpanel. Rare JDM > ARC IMO I have personally seen the design, fab, assembly and test of Rare JDM's products, one of the best in the industry! Quality, precision and functionality are outstanding!!

The Rare JDM one fits just like OEM so if the OEM RWD and AWD underpanel are the same then it should fit.
