Another full work day on the engine bay at RRYDE alley. I've been patiently waiting to address this section of the engine bay for a while, it made sense to wait and collect parts and do everything at once. Thanks to RRYDE for all of his help with the polishing, chroming, painting and install. Also thanks to Heist. for the parts from his engine bay when he was parting out.
Out with the old....
New goodies:
Polished and painted alternator, chromed pulley, chromed bolts
Installed
Polished PS pump, chromed PS pulley, polished bolts
Installed
Chromed brackets and pulleys, painted
PS tank braided hoses, Earl's hose clamps
More chromed brackets
Added a couple of Earls AN fittings (stripped and polished)
Polished header heat shield, before and after

Looks sweet Marcus. You going for top G35 engine bay in the world huh?
I like what you did with the blue stripe on the alternator. I did something similar with my first Trans Am. The older GM alternators are pretty easy to take apart and I painted it matte black with a gloss red stripe in the middle (on the coils like yours) to match the car. The alternators on those cars sit really high, so it was one of the first things you saw, and people really liked it.
Pity the G buries the alternator so low in the engine bay. Still it's a really nice way of addressing those last few remaining parts.
How much you got left? (Or should I not make you think about that? )
