You should be able to cut the silicone with a razor. 220 for 7 minutes will get the butyl nice and soft.

Just Installed Paddle shifters onto my 2007 G35X, what a difference, I'm not sure but I think that the transmission shifts a little faster using the paddles vs the shifter stalk. Not sure why but hey, I am not complaining. Entire process took maybe 45 minutes and was a lot easier then I expected.

Followed the Guide at
https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...t-paddles.html

Highly recommend the process to anyone who can find the parts, I got the OEM parts on ebay for less then $250.

Anyone else done this mod? Never even guessed I could do this until I started cruising this forum. Still blows my mind that anyone can add this option so easily as long as your car has the right hookups. Parts are 100% plug and play as long as you have a 07 or newer model.

It's all good, since the paddles weren't an OEM option, install on a 1st gen is a little more complicated than on the 2nd gens.

I wouldn't say flat whits. More of a satin or semi gloss. Looks insane in the sun. Gives a shimmer like a pearl. O and just installed the.rear lip and jdm visors. Will take pics in the morning
