The end brackets I bent from some 2" x 1/8" strap (made a jig for my shop press out of some 1/4" plate and some angle). Then welded it all up. followed the SCCA Harness bar reqs.

I needed the bar to be able to run the seat in the Extreme Speed 350z Competition Cup
can you post some better pictures where everything is mounted at please

I've heard/read the same but I don't have first hand knowledge. I made my own rails to bolt the sliders to.

I'll try to remember to get some shots of the mounts when I take it off, I'd have to remove the panel. The the lower strut heim joint is bolted to the lower seat belt mounting point. I have this pic, didn't want to post it because it shows how bad a welder I am...

where did you mount it at inside the panel ? did you bend the metal at the ends ?

no one cares how bad you are at welding as long as it holds up if you crash .thats all that counts man

Haha, I would not offer to do anyone's. I'm a Software Engineer so I don't really get a chance to keep my welding skills up. I do know how to get the heat range right though and my welds are strong just not pretty...

truth.
Recaro sliders with sparco 350z rails. Just sits low because it's made for the 350z.

That's like the opposite of my cousin... my dad was gonna teach him some welding basics, and he would lay a really nice bead that was only bonded on one side

New front BBK; 6 pot Wilwood Superlite calipers, 14" 2 piece Wilwood rotors, and stainless steel lines. Will get better pictures on the car when I can get it out of the garage. We broke a bleeder on the passenger side and I think I might have to order one from Wilwood direct. Until then the car's not going anywhere.

Stock caliper

New caliper and rotor
