My bixenon projector retrofit
I used d2s bulbs. I dont use the adapters. I make mounting brackets for all locations. Ive put fx35, tsx and s2k projectors up top with no problems. The fun task of putting a tl bixenon down low was fun cuz the solenoid was huge on that thing. When i put the morimoto mini up top there was plenty of room. The mini is a good projector but no way compares to the s2k or tsx. Deffinately a good bang for the buck though

The S2k and TSX are both low beam only so they weren't really an option for me. Their cutoffs look really nice though.
Doooo itttttt !!! Bro will go perfectly with your nismo <JdM> look
My cousin showed me those kits on the retrofit source. Very nice
I know what you mean, the projectors I used have huge solenoids on the side
It was a huge pain and I finally had to end up fabricating brackets.

do you have any pics of your retrofit? i'm curious to see the routes others have taken with their retrofit.

A member asked me a question about how I wired the projectors, and I thought I'd post the answer on here in case it helps anybody else.
My car has the premium package w/ automatic headlights.
I set up the projectors as follows:
I mounted the projectors in the fog/high reflector bowl simply because it is larger, requiring less shroud/bezel trimming. Plus, the Morimoto projectors can be mounted in the existing H4 bulb mount. You have to modify the projector body to get the cutoffs straight with the H4 adapters, but it was still easier than fabricating mounting plates. I ordered D2S projectors rather than H1 projectors because our cars come with D2R bulbs from the factory. D2S/D2R bulbs are identical except D2R bulbs have sort of a sticker on the bulb that creates a cutoff, necessary in reflector lights.
I simply hooked up the factory ballast/ignitor to the projector. The ignitor is plenty long enough to reach the projector mounted in the fog/high location. I then tapped into the H4 bulb socket wiring to ground the ignitor. This arrangement means that when I turn on the low beams via the stalk, the projectors fire up.
To power the high/low solenoid, I simply tapped into the now unused H4 bulb socket that's in the headlight. I spliced the solenoid leads so that when I toggle the high beams on from the stalk, the bixenon solenoid is activated by the H4 socket and thus I get my high beams.
The headlights function normally except there are no fog lights. The stock foglights are useless anyways. The factory low beam is also not hooked up, but there is a bulb in there just so it looks normal.
If you wanted to, you could install some LEDs or halos in the lights and use the fog switch on the stalk to toggle those on/off.

But yeah, if you aimed the factory low down so that it could function as a fog before making/aiming the projector mounting plates, it would look pretty cool.
EDIT: forgot to mention that the highs/lows are aimed together. It sucks they can't be adjusted individually. Not to mention the 05-06 lights don't have lateral adjustment built in, unlike the 03-04 lights...

^LOL. Then you could spot incoming air-raids!
I get what you're saying.
I did that with mine, but I fabricated mounting plates and sliced the reflector in half.
I don't use my old low/fog at the moment, because they're pointed at the trees too. I just have to wedge something under them to adjust them down.

I also like the turn signal lens. I'm going to do that mod this summer, along with painted bezels and reaiming the projectors.
