It is coming along great! I'm just glad to see it didn't succumb to the salvage yard.

^ I just may change color, not sure yet. Winter is coming fast and its gonna be too cold to work in the home garage. I can't have car at work much longer. I need to drive the G in the winter because my C10 sucks in the snow. In the spring I will have to make up my mind on the future of my G, either lightly modded daily driver or modded weekend car.

I would like a subtle spoiler like the Strafe V2 but the high cost and fitment are a deal breaker. Not sure I remember Vikek's old spoiler.

Yes the doors have to come off to do a color change. This step of the repair process does not require the door off because it is not in my way. My car was desert platinum before and as you can see my jambs are brown and yes I removed the doors because that is the proper way to do it.
In general when painting or priming is done on a panel, all the window trim, handles and moldings have to be removed. If you see pics of peoples cars in primer with that stuff on then chances are the guy doing the work is cutting corners to save time.

+1 when I got my color change, everything came off. I remember not to long ago thr was a thread here with a guy getting his car painted OB and they masked off the door handles and left the bumpers on.
