Oh, if that's the case, then I retract my previous statement... You suck, Sir! (I keed, I keed!).

It is coming along great! I'm just glad to see it didn't succumb to the salvage yard.

^ I just may change color, not sure yet. Winter is coming fast and its gonna be too cold to work in the home garage. I can't have car at work much longer. I need to drive the G in the winter because my C10 sucks in the snow. In the spring I will have to make up my mind on the future of my G, either lightly modded daily driver or modded weekend car.

looks good, I had similar damage I had on my car, about 14k damage - replaced right rear frame rail as well. Of course I didn't do any of it myself lol, and they are still working on it at H&R Auto body.

Have you thought about molding in a subtle lip spoiler? Kinda like Vivek's old one?

The blue? If so I painted a G sedan that color over the summer.

I would like a subtle spoiler like the Strafe V2 but the high cost and fitment are a deal breaker. Not sure I remember Vikek's old spoiler.

^It was very subtle. Basically a lip spoiler (kinda like the ebay one I have, but nicer) molded in.

Ok, underside of car is done. I got the bodywork done on sail panel, rocker seam and trunk jamb then got it primed. Just need to do inside the trunk and rear body panel.

I see you left the doors on and just masked them off. I was told by a guy I'm wanting to use for paint that if I did a color change the doors would have to come off. Is this just the preference of the person doing the work? Or can they stay on like what you have done?

Yes the doors have to come off to do a color change. This step of the repair process does not require the door off because it is not in my way. My car was desert platinum before and as you can see my jambs are brown and yes I removed the doors because that is the proper way to do it.

In general when painting or priming is done on a panel, all the window trim, handles and moldings have to be removed. If you see pics of peoples cars in primer with that stuff on then chances are the guy doing the work is cutting corners to save time.
