My sedan
#4
Pretty solid, it's an '05 with 107k miles, and just about now everything is starting to fail. The engine still runs like a charm, but I think I got a good g35 as far as the engine goes. Didn't have oil burn issues for the longest time, and now just starting to notice it.
The driver side rear bearing was bad, and I had them replaced right before that track day. Car was squirrely that whole day, probably due to my tires being rock hard (too many heat cycles) and worn on the shoulders and also when they installed the new bearing, they didn't tighten the hub nut enough.
Now my front bearings are failing, and at least one of my rear bushings is at the squeaking point. My rears don't feel very planted, probably due to multiple failing bushings, probably going to replace all of them soon if I keep tracking this car.
Tranny and clutch still good so far (though in hpde you don't really need to abuse either, no good reason to), though I had tranny replaced under warranty at like 60k miles and replaced my clutch at that time too.
My shocks probably need replacing, probably past their life, but it feels like it still does okay over bumps.
That track session was kind of amusing, in HPDE 3 and they threw us in together with the HPDE 4 for 2 run sessions because the number of drivers was low enough, so got extra 2 sessions. I was driving pretty slow because of aformentioned issues, but mildly amused to be on the same track and getting lapped by:
