It's a matter of "Taste!"
Maybe it's a good thing that we don't get choices like that tan interior. Why
would anyone buy a silver G with tan interior? I can't think of any Infiniti color
with the exception of IP that "Might" look good with those seats......Ugly!

As I throw up in mouth.......
It's a lot about marketing. In Canada, you could never get charcoal interior on the IP exterior. You could only get the light grey wheat interior. Infinity did surveys and they thought that it would not sell in Canada. It really sucked because when I ordered my 07 it was not available and then a few months later Infiniti changed their minds due to high volume requests for the charcoal/IP color combo. It seemed really odd because you could get the IP/charcoal in the US since the 07's came out. Same thing happened with the 03-06 sedans up here. I got my 03.5 with the Ivory/charcoal and they discontinued the combo after that for 04.

The BMW 335i I was considering versus the G35 was a black metallic with a brown and black leather interior. But the brown was darker brown called "terra/black". I thought it was pretty fierce looking.
I tried to cut-and-paste an image of the car, but here is the URL to the "build your own" on that combination:
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...ModelCode=0842
I also know that BMW was touting a gray color coupe with a creme interior in their brochure and the aluminum trim. Looked pretty good to me.
That all said, while I think it is always good to get more options than less, I am really not feeling that color leather. I actually think that if they added the wheat leather on all cars (not just the Journeys) that might be enough.
