Unless theres a crack on the bumper, you dont need a bumper, even if there are minor stress cracks, the body shop usually heats the bumper and shapes it back to normal

I'd rather have a new bumper. Then I don't have to drop the car off, leave it, drive a loaner, then wait for it to come back.

I'd rather have them order the part, paint it, bake it, then install it while I wait.

Similar thing happened to my car. And it cost the other party's insurance $1300 to replace and paint my bumper and like an inch of the fender

Damn, that's a lot. Luckily my sheet metal was spared.

I'm still pissed because all they had to do was ask me to move my car and this wouldn't have happened in the first place.

Damn...
That sucks to see man, at least its an easy fix.
I had someone hit my rear bumper and fender a while back. I was so pissed I wanted to find them cause they hit my car in a parking lot and they just left without even a note.

Good luck and hope it'll be back to perfect soon

My appraisal appointment is Wednesday, so we'll see how it goes that day. I hope to hell they don't try and tell me they're going to fix the bumper.
