The overlays look great man. How easy was it to put on? You know you got me tempted as it isn't too difficult now. The mod bug bit me good!

The overlays look great but are not the easiest thing to install by yourself onthese lights due to the bulge unless you have a lot of patience...

I agree that the overlays are a pain to install yourself unless you have a lot of patience (I didn't even try but have read numerous stories about how hard they are put on). I got mine installed for $65 which I feel worth the two hours that the guy spent putting them on.

Bat, I will take some more shots this weekend when I am installing my Injen's!!

They are a b!tch to install, but I was able to get it done with no mistakes and I'm super happy with the results.
If you don't have patience and time to do this, don't bother trying. Most people find it much easier to have a second person there helping who can hold the hair dryer for you and apply heat when you need it.
I, at times, needed to hold the dryer under my chin so I could apply heat and have both hands free to form the overlay.

Again, not the easiest thing to do, but it's doable. I was going to have my tint guy do it for me but even he said no guarantees. I figured why pay someone else to screw them up so I tried it myself and they came out great.

Here are a couple more pics of the taillight overlays, loving the looks. Now debating the overlay for the chrome trunk lid. Anybody have pictures of trunk lid overlay on their car?

My color match is pretty darn good on BS .

On a sidenote, because I'm not on site as much as I'd like, please email me for Overlay inquiries .

how dark are those gtr overlays? 6/10 or 3/10?

I'm about to order some myself.. + trunk lip overlay.

I believe that the gtr overlays are 6/10, but not a 100% sure. Post pics once you have the trunk lip overlay installed, on the fence about it right now.
