Photoshoot: Overlays

Hey guys, just wanted to share some pics after the installs:

Midnight Grille
Blue Bat Roof Overlay
Tinted heads and tails

I know it needs a drop but as you can see from the pics, snow is a cause of concern therefore I rather have my clearance right now. Maybe down the line if I move to a warmer state, I will drop it.

Looks great. I really like the grill. Losing the headlight overlays wouldnt be a bad idea though. It makes your headlights look almost yellow.

That looks really nice. But it would look better without the headlight overlay. But I love the rest.

Worry less and drop it.
I was worried too, but I've had no issues and we've gotten quite a bit of snow this year.

Did you do the installs yourself?
Those are a PITA anyway, but in the cold, they're damn near impossible.
I assume they were applied indoors, but I wondered if you did them yourself.

Hey I'm in NY and my car is dropped and it doesn't bother me anymore than before I first dropped it. This winter it was crazy with the snow and I have no problems with clearance from the ground. Trust me you will be fine plus the G looks 100x better when it is lowered

Looks nice. Would you mind posting close-up pics of where the seams meet for the roof? And perhaps, the area around the fin, too?

Thanks.

Looks really nice. And i even like you headlight overlays! overall the car looks great! Did you put an overlay on the shark antenna as well or did you swap it out for a black one?

Thanks a lot for the compliments and of course the criticisms (always welcome!) I actually got the vinyls done at a tint shop due to my busy work schedule so dont really know how much of a pain in the rear end they were to install but according to the tint shop the shark antenna was the hardest part of the entire setup. To be honest, I dont even really like how the antenna came out, so I'm probably just gonna remove the vinyl there and paint it glossy black.

I will try to post close up pics of the roof as soon as the weather here gets better. Believe it or not, its snowing again! There is nothing that brings out the beauty of a glossy overlay like mr. sunshine so just waiting on his arrival.

Is that a seam I see running just to the left of center, from front to back?
If you were having this done at a tint shop anyway, why not have them cut out on solid piece instead of using a two piece design?

Overall, I think it looks good. I love the IP's.
That seam would drive me nuts however.
