idea, that I cant decide on...

just looking at options to freshen up the lower bumper openings on the sport bumper. I found a horribly tacky billet grill but have the idea of maybe making it work.

just using the bottom grill only, what if i powdercoated the top and bottom cross billet pieces CHROME, and then everything else a BLACK similiar to my midnight grill (the idea to match my upper and lower grills). Can I pull it off? Will it look tacky? Are the billet cross pieces too thin? just toying with an idea to spice up the front...

end result to be similar to the audi...

I can't see the picture but it sounds like it would be a little too much personally. I think it would be a bit tacky for my taste.

Oh now I can see it. I still think it would be a bit overdone.

Why not just paint the oem grill?

Also I'm sure I've seen much nicer grills than the one you posted.

maybe the painting that lower billet grill black and then painting your oem grill black will do the trick for you without looking tacky.

just to clarify, i like my upper OEM midnight grill and I am keeping it. I just want the lower grill to match. I am not a fan of the ionics grill or that style.

yes something like that, but only the top and bottom billet pieces chrome. any chance you can photoshop a midnight grill on there now?
