Both UPS and FedEx stopped by today. These will be added to my recent BC Racing coilover install.

Thanks! This is what I've been hearing from everyone so I finally decided to pull the trigger.

I'm not an expert, so I'll defer this to someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

I got the y-pipe for about $325. My 5-Zigen exhaust is y-pipe back, so the JIC pipe will complete my catback system. Stop switching wheels and pick up the sway bars man!

You spent $325 on a Y-Pipe and you have no idea what it does or if there will be any benefits?

This is purely an assumption on my part, but I believe the aftermarket pipe has cleaner bends and will help produce better exhaust flow and subsequently an increase in power and torque. Given that my only power mod to date is a y-pipe back exhaust system, the gains will probably marginal at best. I figure worst case scenario, I'll have a shiny new pipe under my car.

LOL. I'm glad you said it and not me. I would have sounded like an A-Hole if I said it. (But I was thinking it)

I'm just not so sure about this giving you much of anything in terms of gains. The fact is, Y-Pipes are restrictive. This may be less restrictive, but unless someone can show me otherwise, I'm not expecting much here.
My opinion... Y-Pipes belong on single exhaust setups... not "true dual".

With that being said, I know the feeling of installing something new on your G. Enjoy the new pipes and I hope they work out for you.

Also, let us know your thoughts once you've had a chance to get to know it better. I'm curious if you get a different sound as well.
Keep us posted.... I could be completely wrong.

^ I hear you. Besides picking up the y-pipe, my only other options were to either get rid of my 5-Zigen y-pipe back exhaust and get something else, or hack up the existing system and have a custom h or x -pipe fabricated. I actually really like the look and sound of the 5-Zigen exhaust so I opted for the route that I took.

Planning to install the bars and pipe over the weekend, but I installed this bad boy yesterday.
