Some of you might know from the forums, Facebook, or Instagram that my exhaust got destroyed from a metal plate. Well my parts came in yesterday and I went to slap them on. Got the whole passenger side done, but one of the header to test pipe bolts were stripped to hell. So i said forget it, went to a shop, got it off and exhaust installed there.

To summarize, I installed MXP double resonated test pipes and Invidia midpipe. Next plan is to use the damaged pieces of exhaust as a skid plate.

 

Looking good! any noticeable rasp with the pipes? usually there si but given the two resonators im curious

 

Rasp....not yet. I haven't driven the car since Saturday because i'm waiting for new tires to arrive. I also need to wait for my midpipes to break in since they are new pipes.

Exactly! I even found a stress crack from the driver side HFC which didn't get hit. I just yanked it out.

was too low. and was like eh ill make it over the plate

haha yeah not!!.. got stuck from like 10 mph to 0 on instant and yanked my midpipe

I hate those damn things, but it's our fault our cars are too low . I'll be reusing my old HFC and piping to get a skid plate made. Going to cut the HFC in half and bolted up.

I will make a video later today. Midpipe isn't broken in yet, but i'll make 2 versions.

 

Deffinitely in for a video. Deffinitely interested. So you are running the Invidia catback with the MXP HFC correct? I used to have the Q300 and my only complaint was the drone. Is this the new version?
