PLAN EARLY. my friend and i just planned a spur of the moment vegas trip (had cash to blow and nothing to do) and things are pricey. i'm going in less than 2 weeks, during my spring break, which supposedly conincides with march madness weekend. because of that, hotel prices are double what they normally are and i paid $375 for my ticket. ahh, the price of impromptu fun.

here are some pretty useful links we used:
color-coded strip map
**the "reds" and "blues" are right in the middle of everything so try to book there; the "blacks" can be a long walk from everything

honest ratings of hotels per amenities, etc
**hahaha some of the reviews are funny and don't forget to click on the "comparison chart" of hotels on the left sidebar.

oh, and make sure you hit up geobau when you're there. he is midwest homesick and his only link to us cool people is this forum.

PS stay away from san remo, but do view their video (san remo video). it's hilarious. and if you plan on visiting death valley, be sure to stay at the best hotel ever. lol and turn up your volume. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]
