Hey all,

Let's start thinking about what we want to do next. If we do a rally in the spring do we want to do a 1/2 day drive, lunch and drive back or an over night thing? Do we want to drive accross states or stay in 1?

Is there somehting other than a rally that we want to do? I'd love to get started on something. We'll get something planned for F1 in June. But I want to do something before then.

Also, is anyone planning to head down for F1??

MW meet is wherever works best for everyone. If you want it in your state you have to do the planning. Come up with something fun and we will be there.

March 7 at the Lake Forest Sportscars (in Lake Bluff - go figure). It's the new member meeting for the SCCA.

I'd be up for a meet in Lake Forest, I live only a few miles from there. Count me in.

 

I drive all over the country. I would rather drive insanely at a controlled environment. Track: oval, road, strip.

BTW: I'll be Vegas the last week of Febuary. And yes, I am flying - thank freaking god!

My brother is an SCCA member. I'll go to the events to take photos but I am not the driving kind. It is a not very ladylike. (It is hard to stand around looking cute with a helmet on.) Also, he will be at the event he posted info about. They are short cars and would love to have a bunch of G's there. If a number of you go let me know and I will take the day off and be the photographer. I took some great shots at tthe last track day I went to.

Ry, let's pick a time to see Geo in Vegas. Yes, we would fly.

 

I just booked a flight to vegas. April 1-4th. Hopefully feeling alot of "headlights" and "bumpers". I would try to let you guys know what trouble I get into but I can't....its vegas.

 

Aftrbnr, April sounds like a good time to be heading out there. Not too hot yet. I've been in July and August before and it was hotter than hell itself.

And Lmaz, whenever you want to head out there, let me know and I'm there. You can't get enough of Vegas and it is always worth the trip, even if its just a 3 day weekend. Last time I was there, I ended up getting paid to go because I actually won enough money that paid for the trip and gave me some pocket money to go home with. I wonder if alot of us went together if we could get a g35driver discount. We could maybe get an official airline discount. They could use it in commercials. "ATA official airline of G35drvier" It's got a nice little ring to it, don't ya think.

They would have to make the plane lazer red with graphite leather seats! We all know that there is no better color than red! Right Forte?

 

I like the laser red idea, but I think that the willow interior would be better. I'm sure Forte knows that laser red is the best.
