respectable shop around stl?

i just bought my g 3 weeks ago.. and i havent had time to play and look at what after market mods were put on. its been lowered.. and idk with what. and if its been dropped the "wrong way" (cut springs) i want to get it fixed with some good springs.
my g needs a camber kit, tires(bc the -camber wore them out), and other stuff i dont want to try myself.

does anyone have an suggestions on where i could take it?
that wont rip me off?
that does good work?

thanks in advance!

What are you looking to get done? I doubt people with money for a G won't fork out like 150 dollars for decent springs. But if it is suspension work i can help you with that. I have installed springs and struts on two cars, already. One is mine (i'm lowered on z stechs) and my friend with a 06 sedan (We installed new shocks and springs combo on his) And this coming up spring I will install the rear camber SPC kit that i bought.

I also have installed the plenum spacer and mrev2 if you have revup, intake, z tube you name it. These mods are easy and it is really rewarding if you do it yourself.

The camber kit's are just a replacement bolton. Pretty simple, get PB blaster, correct tools, and put aside a good amount of time on the car. There are some DIY here you can look around to do the camber install.

As for the rear sitting high G35's are normall raked but you can cut the rear rubber spring mount (You will know what it is when you pull out the springs in the rear) to get it even. There is also a DIY for that aswell.

By the way, you can look under the car to see what springs you have. Usually they have a logo written on there just inspect the springs.

PB blaster is a penatrating oil/spray you can buy at autozone, good stuff. I haven't installed camber kits on my G ... yet ... so I can't say on proper tools. Looking at the camber kits they don't appear to need any special tools (I could be very wrong). Looks like normal wrenchs, sockets, and a probably a torque wrench to get the proper torque settings. You can "borrow" one from autozone for a deposit if you don't have access to one and don't want to buy one.

Here is the link to the front A-arm (camber) kit install. Didn't find one for the rear, but it looks even easier.

As far as shops. If you are looking for tuner shops, it would depend on where you are located.

There is Adrenaline in St. Charles, and then HTP and speed and sound are in soco. Those are the main ones I know of.

bought the SPC camber kit front and rear for $510 shipped, and some 17s for the winter with some 225/55/17 firestone winterforce. i wont lose any ride height that way. and i found a couple local shops near me that would install it for $450. and father/son owned shop would do it for $400 and they both said it would be done in 4-5 hours.

thanks for all the help. im finally getting it done!
