MN Spring Barbeque/Cruise for Gs and Zs?

I was thinking that maybe we could start planning for that time of the year again when we finally break out the cars and shine 'em up.

I was thinking maybe we could do a barbeque this time? and maybe a cruise? or a cruise then have a barbeque? like go to winona and stop at a park or somthing along the way, take pictures, grill some good FOOD, shoot the bs, ect.

I dont know, just figured i'd throw out an idea thread!

Janik, we've just now got our first real snow. I like the enthusiasm though. I think you should plan to pick up a coupe. I saw a lakeshore slate 6MT on craigslist...good price too. Here's the link:

That coupe has been there for awhile and i honestly wouldnt trust it. To many people have said cars come out of that dealer with lots of little gremlins and history.

But i like my car. Im keeping it until im out of college or it hits 100k miles.

And im just starting to plan and get ideas together so we can nail down a date that a majority of people can do.

lol grilled foot might be nasty.

Well, if you want, the Acura club probably wouldnt protest a barbeque. I have met a few of the guys, and they are all really cool (including a kid my age with a 99 TL, so i wont be the youngest, yay) we could also get the Z club to (if you guys want lol, they might skreet race in the park or somthing haha)

Woot, I sure love mine :-D....except now some punk decided he should also get a coupe. Now there is one that I see off and on, it really bothers me, so much for having the only awesome color in Rochester :P. Depending on what Ben does with his G this year I'll be in, just keep me posted and I'll get the days off

It would be about the same for us Roch boys...and truthfully Im not on the forums much anymore, now since I'm shopping for presents for myself, but otherwise I'm staying too damn busy.

I just need Janick to keep me posted on whats going on, or if people send me a PM as stuff develops I should know about that would be great. Keep the ideas comin, we will get some stuff going this spring. I'll bring my video cam and see if I can recruit some new guys down here with Zs and Gs to head up too.

I'm thinking end of April or early May would be perfect. I remember the last few years we've had snow at the end of march still(leaving for sprrrring break time). Can I ask how you came up with "Winona" as the stopping point? Its crazy because I was just there for the past 4 years for school..lol. A perfect cruise would be to take hwy 61 all the way along the river(could cross into WI if we wanted) and continue to follow 61 or 35 all the way down to Winona, then take 94 over to Rochester and bring 52 all the way back up. What do youa ll think? Its about a 3/4 hr cruise. 2 hours to winona, 40 minz from winona to Roch, and about an hour from Roch back to Minneapolis or the "494" barrier.

Streetdreamz - thats exactly what I was thinking... I think it's a nicer cruise to be on the 61S side rather than the 35 side... I would part ways though once we hit I90 I'd be back in LaCrosse... I'm assuming you meant I90 and NOT 94... Too bad Lake City is before Winona because thats a damn nice area too...
