Kansas city g's??

Hey, what's up, I'm new to this site...and I'm happy I found some way to communicate with people about these cars, events, etc. I own a 2009 AWD (pic below). Just got it about 2 months ago. Any KC clubs or meets???!?!? I want to cruise and meet people. Let me know., take care!

We have kinda failed at making something happen this summer, but when i come back full time (got a job at burns and mcdonnell engineering) i am committed to getting a club started to act as my baylor driving club. I have been the marketing and event coordinator for 2 years and this will be my third.

Shirts, stickers, cups, events, i can do it all and i have amazing connections!

But for now nothing exists...

Oh and hi im Kevin and i live by 435 and state line (major infiniti lol) and have a LR G with the mods below plus a few newer summer mods.

Nice, I'm in Information Technology (just graduated). I'm an application developer, web/graphic designer and soon to be CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). I saw that thread earlier and someone created an actual g35KC emblem, design or something...looked pretty cool. I do that stuff as well..love art. I'll keep my eyes open..and thanks for the response. We have to organize a MEET.., all these other cities are doing fairly well with regards to their meets..we gotta put KC on the map! Hopefully some other members will respond..and another attempt at organizing one will begin! Nice mods! I got some more things to learn...this is another reason why I joined. Anyways, keep in touch. LATER!

oh yeah, the name is Justin, just call me J. I live downtown (kcpl area, though I don't really hang out there..lol) .., and I bookmarked it. This gotta happen!

Hello. my name is Bryan and I too am in the Information Technology sector with Lockheed Martin and soon to be a Government employee. I have a black 2004 coupe with a vortech supercharger and several other performance mods. Since I live and work in Leavenworth/Fort Leavenworth area, I usually find my way to the Legends to stretch my legs. If you guys set up a meet in the next month or two I will not be able to join you. Between moving into the new house, getting married, honeymoon, and government in processing; I will be tied up! Lol

Hey, thanks for the replies. Gsims, congrats on the government position. I'm honestly just getting started in IT and currently on the job hunt (just started about 2 weeks ago), so I'm hoping things go well..I'm being patient. Here soon, regardless, I'll be getting into ethical hacking as a mentor (who I think also works for the government, and does many other things) advised me to do so because of my mindset..according to him. But as of right now, just strictly app development. I'm not sure what your area is obviously, but it's tough to talk to other people about IT because it can be so technical (hence the reason I'm typing about it..lol). Any advice....would be great.

As far as a meet goes, I'm definitely down for one...hopefully it can be accomplished. If anyone has an ideas...or wants to organize soon, I will definitely contribute. I hope 06g35 (Kevin) can get a club started!

guesswho? Not sure about the cd player, I'll ask around though.

Regardless, everyone take care..maybe we can establish a meet before the weather gets bad?

Later!

blacknight2009 try going to http://CPOL.ARMY.MIL click on the employment tab, then build a resume tab. It will take 24 hours for your resume to become active in the system. Once you have your resume submitted you can always start looking for jobs in Kansas or any location you are willing to travel. I would suggest you search for a position by the job type and dwindle the results down by locations you are willing to work.

My job is very unusual and hard to explain, but I will try my best. I am a video engineer and a network administrator at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. We have around 1100 students, 96 classrooms, three auditoriums, and hundreds of support personnel that we take care of. We can do everything from transferring students to other location, create or delete accounts, record and broadcast speakers over ip to any classroom or Fort/Post/Base we want. And the rest is just your basic admin kind of work.

Guesswho? I had a "cd ERR" once before after loading a cd upside down.( I was drunk and feeling no pain at the time) What I did was disconnect the battery in the car for a short period of time. Plug it back in and look at the cd player. You might have to turn the car to acc for things to start but the cd player should start looking for a cd in all six locations. After this happens try ejecting/loading a disc. If everything works you are good to go; if not you will have to remove the head unit in order to get your cd's back. GOOD LUCK!

Hey, thanks gsims! I appreciate the feedback. I hear you on trying to explain what you actually do, I have a hard time myself. But I'm understanding, especially the network admin title...I'm familiar with that position because I know some individuals who went that route. Sounds pretty cool. I will check out that site and do as you stated. Thanks a lot. Any bit of help is beneficial. Anyways, the weekend is here! You guys be safe. Oh yeah I might check out that import show coming to KC on September 6th, not sure yet.
