Colorado Owners
Re: Colorado Owners
Hmmm where are you going to purchase your G35? There are only 2 dealers in Colorado which are: Infiniti of Denver and Red Noland Infiniti in Colorado Springs. Since there are not much to choose from I would recommend you going Infiniti of Denver. The experience with Norland Infiniti wasn't the greatest at all. I emailed them regarding some vehicles, and I never received any emails back. I ended up calling them and they were pretty much.. "hang up, I am busy!" style. Never gave me anymore info on cars coming to the dealer and the guy never tried to sell the car. I ended up buying showroom/autoshow car. I got first discount in Infiniti of Denver 300 dollars. It might not sound much but it was better than paying MSRP. They were thinking I was going to pay MSRP but nope. I got free tinting and half finished clear bra for free. Good enough for me. I doubt you will get any discount from the dealership but I would search around for discounted coupe at out of state dealership.
If you made your mind buying car from the dealership, the wait line is horrible but they do have vehicles coming to the dealership.
That is of course deal on G35 coupes!
If you are willing to buy G35 SEDAN that's another story. You CAN get 2000 dollars off for SEDAN. Trust me They have like 60 G35 sedans sitting and they are willing to sell those cheaper than MSRP. I know this because sales manager thought I wanted Sedan and took off 2000 bux. Wish you LUCK!

Re: Colorado Owners
The sales manager's name was Chuck. However what I did was brought someone who had dealer license. He could basically get many cars with invoice price or lower. I am not too sure how Chuck will manage with normal customers but it's worth the try.

I have no idea.. maybe.. or maybe not.. I don't see "hooking" up is correct term to use here. I don't really know Chuck personally. I brought my own guy to make the sales.. Why not talk to Chuck directly? It might be worth the try. I acutally had my own salesman Will. But it was more likely Chuck had the final decision.

Hmmm.. sometimes the dealer will hate me for doing this..
but since you want your G35 cheaper than MSRP...
I was willing to pay MSRP at first. But I was informed that I could get discounted on the coupe. So the dealer quoted me 2000 off the MSRP. Come to think of it.. it's around 32000. That was with G35 6spd with Premium package. (which was 34000 msrp) But I told them I was going to trade in my bimmer. What they tried to do was give me 5000 for my car (dealer trade in 7000) they basically were going to mark it up with 2000 with my used car. I said no. Then they showed me Sedan... They said were going to discount sedan not coupe (BS) anyways I saw Brilliant Silver with Nav and Premium Package in the showroom. It did not have armrest etc. It seem like it was pretty old model.(early 2003). Dealer said they were going to put this in Autoshow and I know people wouldn't buy autoshow vehicle. At the time they weren't even going to go lower than MSRP with this car. So I agree to put deposite down 500 bux. And waited about a month before I got my car.
I went to the dealer and started to negotiate. I knew I am not going to pay full price for "used" autoshow/showroom car. So I wanted at least 500 off the price. What I did was though After about 300 off I wanted Tint, and Clear bra (it was already there, I didn't wanted it and they were normally charging this for $$$) Anyhow I end up buying the car with 300 off MSRP and Tinted windows plus Half Clear bra. I think if you take a look at my car, it was probably okay deal since the car had some minor fix up done inside.
I bet you can get more off from Sedan though.. they have a lot of those in parking lot.. Not many buys them...

Re: Colorado Owners
the price I got my coupe was roughly 37000.. You can say it's MSRP but Colorado dealer charges with dealer fee. Which is not voidable. It's roughly 300 bux. Normally I would have to pay 37000+300+200 (tint)+300 (clear bra) or Protection Package (1900)

Re: Colorado Owners
Okay,
I told them I didnt want the PROTECTION plan thing, but they said all their cars have the protection plan EXCEPT the non-leather ones.
I asked how much I would get for a trade in on a 2002 VW New Beetle Turbo S with 18000 miles on it that I paid $24,000. They told me I would get $11,000 to $12,000. WTF
I told them I didn't want to trade.
They have over 60 sedans!!!
1 coupe, they just sold a red one yesterday.
I told them I wanted a car with:
Leather
Auto
Navigation
They told me $35,485! no discount!
Edited by benathon on 04/02/03 09:33 PM.

Re: Colorado Owners
LOLLOLBoy,
That's a nice car you picked up. If it's the one at the auto show, I had the whole family in it checking it out! I just put my order in this week for a 6MT.

Hehehe Zman.. I am glad you and your family checked out my car. It's awesome that you ordered your 6spd. I hope we will be doing some meetings whenever we have enough owners up to the task. It is so difficult to find G35 owner than 350Zs.

I'm looking forward to being one of the few in town! It would be pretty cool to meet up with everyone in the CO area this summer. That's one nice car you got! Thanks for letting us check it out.

Re: Colorado Owners
are you refering to dealer invoce? I doubt nobody in Colorado got invoce price from Infiniti of Denver. They are pretty hard set on their price you might have to try harder to get some discount. All the people who posted in this forum I believe they got their coupe at MSRP or little higher. I was informed that I was the lucky? one to receive 300 bux off. Then again I think I payed MSRP in a way. Because even before I could have driven my car it was in the showroom floor/showcar floor. People tends to touch and play with it before I can. =p
