Hows everyone doing? Just a few more month until spring. We are on the downslope now. I am so excited.
Also my friend is thinking about selling his Jetta Wagon to his dad, and if he does he is going to pick up an 03 6spd G sedan lol we found one last night and if its still for sale on Tuesday, he is going to fly out next weekend and pick it up. (it is in Ohio).
Us and Neil (the X factor) are getting a house next year, so 3 Gs at the same house would be pretty funny hahaha we could host a G meet without even leaving.

I really don't have a deadline for spring...when my parts arrive...spring arrives! LOL
Might be a little wait till the roads smooth out a bit. Some of the hwy's are just aweful right now w/ all the moisture we're getting and then the ground freezing.

I don't have any parts on the way...well I did, but I'm holding off for the time being. No sense rushing into it just yet...I figure I wont even need to look at tires until the beginning or middle of March. Btw...I will throw a question up for everyone and see what the response is that I get:
I know I asked some people earlier in the year, but I'm focusing on just a couple different tires atm. I'm really not partial to the PS2s...but I always hear good things about them I will include them. I was recently looking at the continental DW extremecontacts since they were a highly praised tire and $207 a tire for the M, but I had a better year than I expected and thought I should see if people think its a better idea to spend a bit more money and get the RE050As PPs for $265 a tire? I'm also debating if I wanna do 245s all around or do a 265/275 staggered setup. If I do the staggered the rears are only $202 a tire or $263 for the PPs. If I jump up to the 275s its gonna be another 20 for the rears or 40 depending on the brand....any thoughts??

I ran 275s on the G last year, which I think was a 8.5" wide wheel, I know the Ms are and I'm not sure if 275 will fit really well or if it will be a stiffer ride. I'm thinkin the 265s might be the best fit and ride quality overall. **Also, the Contis are 4 lbs lighter in the front and a whole 8 lbs lighter in the rear.** I think that will make a world of difference over the PPs, but I will see what the experts think
My friend has the DWS's on his Jetta wagon and I know another G who runs them on his 05 G sedan. They are an awesome tire and grip the road amazingly well. Don't know how they compare to the DWs, but the DWSs are awesome.
I have extremewintercontacts on my car right now and I love them. Big fan of continental tires!

The S is just for snow n they are a bit harder tire. Otherwise the DW Dry/Wet got great reviews. I could save myself a whole new set of rears if I go with the Contis. I have a feeling I might be unhappy I didn't drop it. But we will see. I'm not too far off of a mediocre m37 lease...just have to put some cash down....fml
Nah, they wont be willing to give me what I want for my M being a rwd sport in the winter time. Plus all they have right now are just 37xs in bloomington. Not to mention I think I would want the sport with the 20s and then I'd be jumping up another 5k in packages to get the sport and sport touring...so it wont happen LOL. I'm still not crazy about the new styling.
So what will Mike do? Hmmmmm.....
As for Tires bro, I've heard great things about continental's as well on the 37 forums performance wise. I've gotten pretty tight w/ a few of the mods, and they actually both plan on getting these tires next time around, even after running T1R's(which I just purchased for my new setup & had on my volks). T1R's are great too but the huge perk for me is that they're a smaller walled tired, so i'm able to tuck the tire easier =)

What did they offer you, if you don't mind me asking?
