Hi all!

Yes, I'd be interested in a "Meet" for G35C and S owners. I'm in Lake Zurich and there's stuff like this all the time. Even our village's Lions club has a Classic car meet, so why not a G meet? Anyone ever go the McDonalds in Gurnee? They have classic car nights I think on Fridays every week after Memorial Day. If anyone knows of stuff like this, post it so we get an idea of what's going on with stuff like this. I think it would not be too hard to put together an event. There's a 350Z specialty shop in Streamwood and they have 350Z events? Anyone have a great relationship with a shop or dealer who might want to sponsor the event? I could try Motorwerks where I bought. Email me direct if you have ideas or post here to the site. I'd be willing to help organize it! There are 4 G owners where I work!!!

I'm in if we can come up with anything. I am planning to be at Dave Matthews on July 3 if anyone is going and wants to meet. I will also be at Taste of Chicago on July 5 to see a band. Again if anyone wants to hook up let me know.

I know some other car groups do Kripsy Kreme meets. Pretty much a chance to pimp and pose around the rides and meet other owners.

The key is to find something that is fairly centrally located.

Hi all!

I'm liking the response here on a meet for Chicagoland G owners. A lot of good ideas! I agree on a "central location" idea but many of you don't have your cities listed in you profiles. I'm north in Lake Zurich. What about you others so i can get an idea of our demographics. Also, do you know others in the forums from the Chitown area that have not responded that might be interested? Screen names would help so i can private message them!!!

Yes, Hot Import Nights is at McCormick downtown; essentially this is similar to the Chicago Auto Show except the cars are primarly 'tweaked' imports. I'm in Mundelein.
