Talking 'New Owner" '07 G35x Ivory Pear w/ wood Trim

Hi all,

New to the forum and have read some really interesting threads. I just picked up my new G35x with Premium/Nav/Tech packages. Got a great deal and am loving the car . I will try to include some pics with this post (hopefully it works). I come from the Lexus world and wanted something a little more sporty. The G35x has the perfect balance of Sport and luxury with a relatively quiet ride (I was actually expecting it to be noisier).

Congrats and welcome to the Driver boards, dmerk2. I must say, I really like the wood trim. The new center console layout is a big winner, as well. Enjoy your new G . . . I know you will.

Adaptive cruise

I wanted to get the tech package but the dealership didn't have one in stock so it was sacrificed so I could get everything else (color, features). Do you use the adaptive cruise control at all? Is it reliable?

Yep, that's what Infiniti is striving for these days. Minimizing wind and road noise was on Infiniti's agenda with this new gen. I think they did a pretty good job.

IP is always a good choice. Nice pics and welcome, dmerk2!

I used the adaptive cruise control once (just to make sure it was installed) and it seemed to work pretty good. It kept my car around a pretty good distance away from the car in front of me. I can't say whether it is reliable or not because I haven't "really" used it yet.
