Let's be honest. How many miles before you topped 5,000 RPM?

Well I just turned 500 miles and a traffic "situation" demanded that I get into her a bit. Around 6800 Rs to be exact. And I have been regularly around 5000 ever since.
Just curious how the rest of you are adhering or NOT adhering to the break-in schedule.
Man...it's a tough task with this car...

^^ A sensible answer to me. I had 120 miles today and took it to 60mph in a flash. Hard not to have a little fun!
Reached over 4K rpm several times during break-in, once up to 6500 by accident. I am really trying to be disciplined. Now have 750 miles and will up the rpms to 5K. At 900-1000 miles I'll go to 6K and then, well . . . you all know how it is with these G Sports.
Listen to altersys about varying rpms and speeds, and if you have a 6MT, vary the gears as well.
Car really feels to be breaking in nicely. Shifting is smoother and clutch action is becoming second nature. It feels like the G and I are getting to know each other real well.
On Thursday I take my G up the Taconic Parkway for some real fun.
Oooooeeeee!

During the test drive and after I left the lot. I've done it both ways over the years and I've never noticed any differences with any manufacturers engines. I typically don't baby it at all during the "break in" period and I've always exceeded the MPG on the sticker. Well, on the highway that is. Nissan engines seem to be rated a little high on the stickers for city driving. My 2k2 Maxima was rated at something like 22 city/28 hwy and on average I got 19-20 city and 32-34 hwy.
