New to the forum and G35 family.

Like the title states, new to the forum and owner of 07 Platinum Graphite/Graphite 6MT seden (Nav/Prem/Spoiler). I traded in my 05 325I Bimmer and oh, am I getting falmmed on e46fanatics. But, thats ok, because this thing is a beast. The way I see it, Infiniti gave a lot more for the buck. 38K and fully loaded seden, you can't beat that. I'll take some pictures of it when I get some free time.

Right now, just trying to settle in. After 10 long years, I seperated from the Air Force and now doing the civilian thing.

Thanks for having me,

Dan

welcome Dan. Congrats on your new ride and just brush off all those guys at e46fanatics... they think they're hot stuff because they have a BMW... that costs more than the G and doesnt outperform it. You definitely got the best bang for your buck car out there.

Welcome! Congratulations on your new car from one former bimmer owner to another. and THANK you for your service to the military. Much respect and gratitude. You'll love the G! I totally got flamed on bimmerforums but like you said, we definitely got more bang for the buck with the G. As you'll find, the performance is right up there with BMW despite what others may think.

Welcome...

As for getting flammed by the bimmer guys, I don't know why some people get so attached to one brand. I love the G and for what I wanted I thought it was the best "bang for the buck" among the cars I test drove - but I can also understand that some one else might prefer the Acura TL or BMW 335 or some other car.

Enjoy the car - you'll love the power and all the toys.
