acceleration delay
acceleration delay
Gentlemen:
Is there a way to get the ECU to operate like an old fashioned accelerator spring?
I am disgusted with the ECU. I would be happy to relace the damn thing even if i only got 9mpg as a result. My 1993 altima moved immediately when i put my foot down. The G seems to "think" first before moving. During the time the ECU spends on its' figurative *** "thinking", other drivers may have moved into new positions on the road, which really negates the whole purpose of having 306 horsepower. If I can only accelerate when the ECU allows me to, what is the point of this car? Don't get me wrong- i love the brakes, I love the way it holds the road, but I already get lousy mileage, and I can barely enjoy it because the ECU drives the car instead of me.

Second, you don't need to make another thread when 4 other people told you to disconnect the battery already.
