I know, it's another thread about pricing, but it was just two days ago that my wife decided that she wants a G35 sedan (already have a G35 coupe), so I haven't done that much research yet.

The local dealership is offering $35400 out the door for a 2007 G35X with navigation. So that already includes tax/license/destination charge. We don't mind getting an 07 instead of an 08.

Seem like a fair price?

I think you have to have premium package to get the nav, and I think I saw splash guards. So it's pretty much those three things. But my wife just wants nav. We don't need the AWD, but they're going to be more willing to deal on a 07 at this point.

I don't think I can swing $32K out the door, that's like $29XXX before tax with nav.

BTW, Edmunds lists the invoice as 35,708. MSRP of 39,055, which was pretty much inline with what was on the sticker.

Does the invoice price listed include tax? Tax is nearly $3000 on something like this, so it's a major consideration in my OTD price.

Sounds like a fair price. Try to negotiate. You have nothing to loose. If they dont like your offer, go to another dealer or just wait do thier call. Some dealers will call you within hours with a reduced price of the original asking price. Just make sure you read the contract for hidden fees or what not before you sign. GL and post pics when/if you get it

i got mine below invoice, and it's a 2008 model.. so yeah, 2007 will be a better deal, but you should be able to get your ride at or below invoice...

but if you can somehow swing everything OTD with tax/lic/etc and go waay below invoice, then, that's awesome...

as far as getting the nav, if you're adventuresome, you can read that thread about installing an aftermarket one onto the existing screen, i'm still on the fence on that one...

Thanks for the help, everyone. The current offer OTD is already below invoice, but I'll have to see if the car also had XM radio, since XM traffic would be nice.

This car is going to be for my wife, so I won't be doing aftermarket, aside from maybe some two piece rotors that I already have sitting around. I already did enough with the G35 coupe, and I was in the process of saving for the GTR. I guess I'll just wait awhile longer for that car.

We agreed that this car would be for her birthday/Christmas/Valentine's and 2008 birthday. She's a physician, so she's been working hard for a long time.
