Finally got my G35xS

I finallly picked it up yesterday! 2008 G35 xS with Splash guards, Sport, Premium & Navigation packages (Blue Slate with Graphite Interior). According to the dealership it was the first and only one they have gotten so far. I ordered it back in the beginning of Oct. There are only 3 infiniti dealers in WI so I may very well have the only one here yet. It was frustrating to see them arriving everywhere but here for the past 2 weeks!

My first impression was that this is a great handling car! I have read some complaints about the AWD in snow, but I'm not sure what they are comparing it to. It might be the best handling car I have driven (even in snow). This includes owning rear and front wheel drive sports cars as well as 4 wheel drive SUV's. Yes, the backend can swing out, but if you have ever driven other rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive cars you expect this. The traction control far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I almost didn't even know right away it was kicking in.

Overall, this car was worth the wait and every penny!

Ohh, I know the car isn't clean anymore but it's impossible to keep a car clean during the winter here in WI even for 1 day.

Yeah, the dealership had those with the car on delivery. Those obviously got passed on to the wife. I thought for a second about taking credit for them!

Wow... I am hoping for something simple like a logo mug or shirt. Imay need to email that picture to my sales consultant before I pick up my car on Tuesday.

Does that rear spoiler come with the S package? I am not really a fan of those type of spoilers(just a personal preference) and I just purchsed the xs but it didn't state in the sport package that it would come with the spoiler. Thanks in advance.

No, it is a factory option, but not standard with the Sport package.

Nice! I would have bought a Sport X optioned like yours if it had been available in '07. You will be even rarer as you drive north. I only see +'07 Gs up in N. Snohomish County about once a month. I see more M's than G's.

Thanks. When I picked up mine I saw one other Sport X, but they had the dealer tags bolted in the frame. Strictly for demo. So far I did 300 miles last weekend and I love it! Trekked up to Bellingham via Chuckanut and then took a loop around Snoqualmie Falls. Man it is hard keeping it under 4K!

Looks good Rob. I'm thinking about doing the same thing with mine. Why is it though that pictures of the blue slate never seem to do justice for that color? Anyone else notice that?
