Thanks. Lived London, UK my whole life and just moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia a few months back.

The Infiniti doesn't even exist in the UK, there's only Nissan but no Infiniti, but I've hear they'll be making an introduction to the UK market early next year. To be honest they should have made the moved earlier as the G35 market is a well needed one.

But about the Ipod integration wire - talk to someone in upper management at the dealer, they are supposed to include the wire. I picked up my car 2 weeks ago and they included a wire.

 

humm don't suppose it'll be possible to see a pic of the wire they gave you? and mine is without navi, currently connected via the aux inputs in the armrest, is that what yours is like?

 

No not through the aux inputs - do you have a serial port like connection above your aux inputs? Theres a little cover that flips down and reveals it for me

Just went to take a look and Unfortunately it doesn't look like I do. Would you be able to post a pic just so I can be 100% sure? lol if not it's cool. Did the serial port connections come with the Navi unit? Because I don't have Navi, but I have the rear view camera and the Bose system. Plus I can play video trough the AUX cable but the video on the car screen shows in Black and white, any idea why that is?

 

I would post a pic, but its pretty cut and dry - if you don't have anything above ur aux inputs you don't have the ipod integration! I don't have Navi, but I still have the iPod - it comes with the premium package here in the states.

Its cool about the pic, I took a really good luck before going home and there defiantly isn't anything. I'm running the video from the I-pod through the AUX connection and it comes up on the screen with sound and pic but in black and white (and yes the car has to be in park)

So would you say I have to go with something like PAC AAINsv2? with something like Blitzsafe UII universal Ipod interface?

 

You're lucky, my understanding is the graphite interior is not available in the Ivory Pearl G for the 08 model year in the states. Sure you don't have an 07? Nice car, regardless.

 

Humm good question, because I there was only this one available with IP and graphite interior, all the others were beige. I'm pretty sure its a 08 Model, anyway of easily checking if its a 08 model?
